We work with ex-pats, individuals and small businesses in the Valdichiana and Val d’Orcia regions of Southern Tuscany to create, maintain, and grow their vegetable gardens and landscapes specializing in organic practices and biological control.
ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
This idea has been several years in the making. What started as a casual conversation in the halls of North Carolina State University, grew over time and also jumped the Atlantic Ocean. As two of the three planning team members relocated to Italy, it seemed quite fitting to bring our area of expertise from the US and mingle with all the work that is currently going on all over the world.
And so, the International Vermicomposting Symposium was born. It has had some challenges and setbacks, but haven’t we all in the post-Covid world. We are excited to bring together so many knowledgeable experts in the field of vermicompost and learn together from one another.
