Networking Social
On November 8, 2023, we will be hosting at Networking Social to give all Symposium participants a change to mingle and network following the first day’s speakers. Tickets for the Networking Social are NOT included your registration but can be purchased online through the registration portal or the day of the event. Attendees will be treated to traditional Tuscan antipasti, including local charcuterie, cheeses, crostini, and more. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available at no cost. Participants will have access to a full, cash bar featuring beer, wine and spirits.

Worms & Wine Tour of Tuscany
Join us November 10 for an exciting “Worms & Wine Tour” of Tuscany. Through a generous sponsorship and ongoing collaboration with Centro Lombricoltura Toscano (CLT), we will embark on a tour showcasing vermicomposting and its significance in the wine industry here in Tuscany. We will depart for Pisa where we will meet with founder and CEO of CLT, Marco Calcaprina, where we will learn about his methods of vermicomposting and tour the CLT facility. After a hearty Tuscan lunch, we will travel to Vivai Moronia, a barbatelle farm just north of Pisa, to learn how grape vines are propagated and grafted and see Marco’s product in action. Before heading back to Florence, we will have a wine tasting featuring wines from Gagliole and snack. We will head back to Florence in the early evening in plenty of time for you to have the dinner on your own.
Participation in the event is extremely limited. Please register early!
Registration Fees and Value-Added Tax (VAT)
Registration fees on the website DO NOT include the standard 22% Value Added Tax or VAT.
For private individuals (those not associated with a company or organization) VAT will be added at checkout.
Business or corporate registrations will not be charged VAT, however, you MUST provide the full business name, address, email, and Tax ID number/TIN/UID/PIVA in the billing form (use the Order notes for Tax ID) or we cannot proceed with a VAT-exempt registration. All business information must be received within 7 days of registration or face registration cancellation.
Students sponsored through their university will not be charged VAT as long as the same billing information, (the full business name, address, email, and Tax ID number/TIN/UID/PIVA in the billing form (use the Order notes for Tax ID) can be verified.

Registration & Cancellation Policies
Stone Pine Consulenza is not responsible for problems beyond our control, such as travel- and weather-related problems, or “acts of God”, and no refunds will be given in those situations. Any other extenuating circumstances not covered here may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Registration cancellation requests must be made in writing and submitted via email to Stone Pine Consulenza (info@stonepineconsulenza.com).
FULL REGISTRATION: Partial refunds of regular registration fees (50% which includes an administration, processing and credit card fee) will only be made if the cancellation request is received between February 20 and August 31, 2023. Stone Pine Consulenza will not offer any refunds, for any reason, after September 1, 2023.
